    Knowing what is depicted in most of these, we can say that they numbering appears to represent the actual time sequence.

    We know now that all 5 sets of negatives depict “Operation Ochsenkopf”; assembly on the morning of the operation, the journey into the hills, aftermatho of the battle at Sidi N’sir, and the retreat from Hunt’s Gap.
