I have fond memories of my time at Camp Shelby. Hot as heck, but nice folks in Mississippi.
I spent the latter part of 1942 and most of 1943 at camp shelby. It was a fine camp and I especially liked Hattiesburg. I am 88 yrs old and would like to revisit the camp sometime.
@Jim Clark, Jr. do you have any recollection of Cassie R. Robertson during your time at Camp Shelby? He enlisted in ’43.
