Original Caption: With the 1,900 horsepower Wright R-2600-20 Cyclone engine coming to life, Mr. Mark Allen, from Houston, Texas, prepares the last flying example of a Navy Curtiss-Wright SB2C Helldiver in the world before taking off Joint Base Andrews after completion of the Joint Service Open House. The aircraft, owned by the Commemorative Air Force, flies around the U.S. to promote the history of this aircraft and rich history of the U.S. Navy.
