Curtiss AT-9 Trainer

Restored Curtiss AT-9A Fledgling — widely known as the “Jeep” — twin-engine, advanced trainer photographed at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton. The AT-9 first flew in 1941 and series production began in 1942. Almost 800 AT-9s and AT-9As were manufactured built the end of production in early 1943. (U.S. Air Force Photograph.)
