Maj. Gen. William G. Livesay (1896-1979)
July 1943 - Inactivation. Gen. Livesay led the 91st from their training at Camp White until deactivation in December 1945. Prior to commanding the 91st, Gen. Livesay had served with the 35th Infantry Division and Puerto Rican Mobil Force.
