Military Museum of Southern New England [Danbury] - Museum of military vehicles and artifacts. The museum has regular open turret weekends when visitors can climb on and in the collection of armored fighting vehicles. [www.usmilitarymuseum.org]

Military Historians Headquarters Museum [Westbrook] - The museum has a large collection of military uniforms, research materials, and a reference library.

Fort Trumbull State Park [New London] - Built overlooking the Thames River, Fort Trumball State Park has a variety of exhibits on local military history and the city of New London.
